SHANGHAI — Fotile, a Chinese home appliance manufacturer, has revolutionized the country’s dishwasher market with its sink-integrated dishwasher, addressing long-standing pain points of difficult installation, poor adaptability and limited cleaning power, and reshaping consumer perceptions of dishwashing appliances. The company’s technological breakthroughs have not only boosted market growth but also earned it top honors in the industry.
In 2011, Fotile began developing dishwashers after extensive market research across 40 cities and over 1,000 families. In 2015, it launched the world’s first sink dishwasher, a space-saving design that fits into standard kitchen sinks without complex renovation. This innovation won first prize in the Science and Technology Progress Award of the China National Light Industry Council in 2018. Fotile has since developed High Pressure HydroJet Wash Tech, inspired by submarine cleaning methods and featuring a planetary spray arm, to enhance cleaning performance.
By 2024, Fotile led China in three key dishwasher patent categories: the most authorized cleaning patents, the most-cited high-value patents and the most energy-saving and environmental protection patents. Its products have expanded to international markets, with strong demand in Southeast Asia and Europe, where compact and efficient home appliances are favored.
“Our focus on user-centric innovation has allowed us to create products that truly meet the needs of modern households,” said Chen Gang, CEO of Fotile. “We will continue to invest in R&D to drive the global dishwasher market forward with more convenient and efficient solutions.”
